what is ISO and why does it matter?

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) develops internationally recognised standards designed to help organisations deliver safe, reliable and high-quality products, services and systems. These standards bring together best practice from experts and national standards bodies around the world, covering everything from quality and environmental management to health, safety and sustainability.

our ISO certifications

At Pixelhouse Group, we’re proud to hold four key ISO certifications across our pillars – Gravit8, DBpixelhouse and Aztec:

  • ISO 9001 – Quality Management
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
  • ISO 20121 – Event Sustainability Management
  • ISO 45001 – Health & Safety Management

Achieving these certifications means our processes and ways of working have been independently assessed by an external auditor against internationally recognised standards.

But for us, ISO is about much more than achieving a certificate.

a commitment to continuous improvement

Our certifications demonstrate our commitment not only to meeting recognised standards, but to continually improving how we work.

Our teams play an important part in this. By involving colleagues throughout the certification and auditing process, we build a greater understanding of what the standards mean, why they matter and how everyone can contribute to maintaining them.

We’re particularly proud of the way our teams engage with external auditors. Rather than viewing an audit as something to worry about, we see it as an opportunity to learn, challenge ourselves and identify ways we can continue to improve.

going beyond ISO

Our commitment extends beyond our ISO certifications. Across Pixelhouse Group, we’re also proud to celebrate achievements including ESSA Sustainability Tier 5, ESSA Health & Safety, SafeContractor and Cyber Essentials.

We’ve also been working with Sustainable Advantage to help map out the Group’s ESG journey and identify opportunities to strengthen our approach to environmental, social and governance responsibilities.

While not every certification applies to every part of the Group, the principles behind them do. By embedding quality, safety, sustainability and continuous improvement into our everyday work, we can continue raising standards across Pixelhouse Group.

Ultimately, our certifications are something to celebrate – but it’s the commitment of our people that makes them meaningful.
